Messiah Lutheran has many opportunities for its members and friends to grow in Christ beyond Sunday Morning Worship. While we receive God’s grace and sacraments through worship, it is important that we feed ourselves with the Word of God through Bible study as well.

Adult Bible Class – 10:30 AM (Basement Auditorium)
This is a “topical” Bible class led by Pastor Pinion. Each week we investigate what God’s Word says on the topic(s) chosen. Join us for one, two, or all the topics. A schedule of upcoming topics is listed below.

Sunday School – 10:30 AM (Sanctuary)
Each week, all of our classes learn the same Bible lesson at an age-appropriate level. We use “Growing in Christ” curriculum from Concordia Publishing House (St. Louis, MO). All children (Pre-k through 5th Grade) meet in the sanctuary for opening, before splitting into their individual classes. Children may be picked up from their class’s designated location at 11:30 AM.

Youth Bible Class – 10:30 AM (Youth Room)
Both our Junior High (6th – 8th Grade) & Senior High (9th – 12th Grade) Youth Groups meet in the Youth Room for announcements and Discussion Starters. After that, DCE Andrew Nelson and other youth volunteers lead these Bible studies. Our Youth Bible Studies take a deeper look at the Bible stories our Sunday School classes are studying, focusing on real-life application for teens.
