A RESIDENT PASTOR AGAIN

In March 1893 the congregation resolved again to call its own pastor. It was stipulated that this pastor "should be able to play the organ, if necessary; teach both English and German in school." Pastor Dorn of Rockford, later a Professor at our Ft. Wayne Concordia, was the unanimous choice of the members. When the call was returned, the congregation resolved to call a graduating student, "qualifications to be as specified in the previous meeting."
