A MISSION IN NELSON

In 1920 another attempt was made to serve our people in the area of Nelson. At that time Nelson was a thriving railroad center. Public services and Sunday School were conducted monthly through 1924. At that time the project was abandoned. This Mission project terminated because the membership declined and also because it was quite possible for the members of that area to come to Sterling for worship purposes. In 192052 souls and 15 communicants were served there; by 1924 this was down to 34 and 13.
