The Building Fund

BUILDING FUND COMMITTEE

In 1937 the congregation recognized that the day would come when more funds would be needed for expansion purposes, so a building fund was created. At first it grew slowly; by the middle of 1945 it finally topped the $10,000.00 total. From that time on real progress was registered. By the end of 1948 $32,820.59 was in the regular and special building funds, not counting the investment in church property. One year later the figure stood at $43,183.40.
