A MISSION AT NELSONOctober 1877 found Pastor Lussky undertaking his next move in soul-saving and soul-keeping. On the 14th of that month he conducted his first communion service in Nelson. Ten guests were received at the Lord's Table. Preaching services were conducted at fairly regular intervals in a country school house a little south of Nelson until 1884, when they were discontinued by the next Pastor. There was little progress registered during those years, however, because only three communion services were conducted there in eight years. |
