Son of God

Jesus is the Son of God

Faith in Jesus as the SON OF GOD is symbolized by the shield of faith set on a triangle (the Trinity). Around the shield and triangle are seven stars, noting the promised gifts of the Spirit. The crown and the alpha and omega (the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet, "the beginning and the end", Rev. 1,8) testify to His eternal Kingship. Above the shield is the Alleluia of praise from Rev. 19,1.

Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:7-8, NKJV).

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. (Matthew 28:18, NIV).

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here.” Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?” Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.” (John 18:36-37, NKJV).

When the centurion and those who were with him, keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and what took place, they were filled with awe and said, “Truly this was the Son of God!” (Matthew 27:54, ESV).

“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory and power belong to our God!” (Revelation 19:1, ESV).
