Son of Man

Faith in the SON OF MAN is symbolized by the shield of faith (Eph. 6:16) dominated by a large cross studded with five Jewels (representing the Five Wounds of Christ) and the Messianic Rose. Above the Shield are the five-pointed Star of Jacob (the symbol for His Epiphany or appearance as the Messiah, Numbers 24,17 and Rev. 22,16) and the Alpha-Omega surrounded by a circle (identifying Jesus as the second person of the Trinity). On the shield are the Fleur-de-lys (representing His Human Nature) and the Chalice and Host (representing His abiding presence in our midst). The I H S on the Host refers to Jesus Christ.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. (1 Peter 2:24, ESV).

I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel. (Numbers 24:17, NIV).

I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star. (Revelation 22:16, NKJV).
