Ascension

THE TRINITY CYCLE begins with ASCENSION. The fiery chariot of Elijah was a favorite symbol in olden days. It may be seen on many a tomb, especially of those who suffered martyrdom. It is the universally accepted symbol for the Ascension of Christ into heaven.
